Basically just checking in.

We haven't done very much for the last couple of days. Friday Bill didn't feel well most of the day. Only went out for a meal. The prednisone really really makes him sick. He tried taking it at night but then his eyelid drooped about half way through the day. So for two days he's taken it in the morning and almost immediately gets sick. He always takes it after eating. At night he just went to bed and by morning was feeling okay. But..

These were taken Wednesday at dinner at Torres. Had to look it up.

It finished like this.
Cruise ship all lit up just came from around the island.

One afternoon when he was feeling a little better we took a short walk. I think this used to be a social club. It is closed now and she is falling apart.
This is the famous Fat Fish where we get the RIBS. Went there again on Thursday night.
This was taken, at same table and restaurant 10 years ago. Size of ribs has changed. New tables and chairs too.
The plates are now oval instead of round and the meal is more expensive. But still pretty darn cheap and very good. He looks happy.
Don't know why I was looking so weird. Wondering where to start I guess. The plate in the foreground is Marks .
So now for the elephant in the room. All the unrest in Mexico for those of you who have seen it is quite a ways away from us. Nothing is going on in Mazatlan. The airport is open and flights are going in and out. Thank goodness as we leave here tomorrow. Nothing has been set on fire and life goes on as usual.

  1. Thank you for all the posts while you were in Mazatlan. Sorry your time comes to an end. Have a good flight back to Las Vegas and hope the Cartel activities will not impact your trip home.

    1. Flight home was good, both planes left on time and landed a few minutes early. No problems in Mazatlan thank goodness.

  3. Thanks for sharing this information. Home improvement and maintenance topics are always useful for homeowners. I recently read a helpful article on matching floor tiles with wall paint, and another useful guide about removing mold when caulk goes wrong. These guides give practical tips that many homeowners may find helpful.
