The road construction from the free road to El Quelite is complete. Including new entrance to highway. Many of the bougainvilleas that remain along the road are growing and blooming like crazy.
Of course we stopped for breakfast at El Mason de los Laureanos.. I was wandering around while Mark and Bill were conversing.
I always find something new to take a picture of while there.
I finally got this flower's color to show up pretty close to right.
Some music to listen to.
Lots and lots of venders on the street.
Just the flowers. Every where you look.
What color should we out here? and here? and over there? I love it!
Yellow and pink in the front, blue on the side. A couple of the plants that used to be next to the road.
The house needs some TLC. Wonder how much it would sell for?
Looking in through one of the windows. What a shame.
I never notice the pretty street signs before. Always find something new to me when here.
The shop and hotel. The rooms are upstairs in the back.
A lot of color up there too.
A glass wall decoration for sale. The colors change with the light.
Excuse me - coming through. Sharing the road.
I just like the colors here. The flowers across the road are colorful too.
I think she has been waiting too long.
Mark and his new friend. She looks a little stiff.
Another old building with a store in it across the street.
It is a leather shop. Have a lot of saddles in there.
The building is about 150-70 years old. The original ceiling under the front overhang.
The beams are all hand cut.
Look at those old hand hewn beams.
The front edge of the roof.
Check out the size of the cacti on the roof of this house. There is even a napoli there. Never seen one of them on a roof before.
The same pink house. The back part is lived in. We were walking towards the tree in the wall.
The hand made bricks in a building across the street. They are all different sizes.
Just after my mishap, walking back towards the restaurant. Such a pretty house with all the plants around it.
Out of the restuarant and over to the Plaza to listen to the band. He was enjoying the music too.
And then we came home. You always leave El Quelite with a smile on your face and a happy heart. Probably our last time there this year.
Mark & Bill have been together so long they are starting to dress alike!! :-) Love the pictures. Can hardly wait to visit there in person....306 to go.
