Just a quick note before we get on the road. Got about 240 miles of rough road (lots of pot holes) to do. Then spending the night in a truck stop in Los Mochis. Some times it has Internet and some times it doesn't. But it does have a good restaurant. Our next stop In San Carlos will have Internet so if not before will post then.
Just some last pictures from Mazatlan. This is a billboard of a new complex that is being built not too far from Las Jaibas. Pretty soon there won't be any empty land left. Traffic is going to be horrid.
One of our last breakfasts at the crepe restaurant La Antigua. Really like it out on the back patio.Last trip to the grocery store managed to get a shot of the sign without any one in front of it.
Going to the grocery store. It is upstairs. Good thing the moving flat escalator was working. It has a magnetic lock for the shopping carts. Get put on at the bottom and hopefully someone grabs them before I get up there.
It is a huge modern store.
Had more entertainment for a few days. Neighbor was getting their motorhome repainted.
A beautiful mural up by WalMart.
Saturday, Luis, the barber came by and both of us got haircuts. Going to miss all the services that come to us here. Laundry picked up and delivered, hair cuts, vegetable truck, repairs and washing of vehicles.
So - will start getting things ready for travel, then go across the street to Torres for breakfast. Not in a hurry to get on the road. It will be about a five hour drive, then sitting in truck parking lot so don't care when we get there. This is the roughest part of the road and heard the tolls have gone up!!! If I can get Internet will put out short blog.
Safe travels!
