Real flowers

Ah, never ending...the last two days have been in the 90's - yesterday was 95 and guess whose air conditioning isn't working. Turned it on and all it did was blow warm air. Called the warranty service Monday afternoon, soonest they can come is Friday between 2 to 6 p.m. Luckily yesterday was only 84 and today 74. So we are past the worst of it. This is the thermostat at 10:30 at night Monday night. This morning when I go up at 6:00 it was 82. But with the doors open it is now 81. At least the doctors office and the car will be cool this afternoon.

Tuesday morning Bill was feeling pretty good so he made chicken milanese. Lots of it.
Enough for several meals and sandwiches.
I potted  my flowers - sure hope they live. Still have to something for the planters on the wall that get no sunlight. This one might have to be moved too, not much sunlight gets here.
Going to try to find some colorful small plants that need shade for these. Another trip to nursery in the future.
Not as much color as the artificial ones. Hope I can keep them alive. The brown clumps in front of them on the yard will soon be green with lots of yellow and orange flowers. (Our actual "yard" is rocks.)

Moved my pine cones to the table and that potted plant to the sun.
We went to the heart doctor yesterday afternoon. He check out our blood pressure - Bill's is great, mine is stressed, but not enough to worry about. EKG and general questions. Scheduled tests for end of June and appointment July 5. Then he will make decision on what to do with Bill's problem. He didn't seem too concerned. But when Bill mentioned his fatigue the doctor opened his mouth and said that's not unusual after covid and it could last three to six months. I knew that but hadn't mentioned it to Bill. He almost fell off the chair. Now he is really unhappy. For some one active it is depressing to not be able to get up and do things.
Today we see the retinal specialist. Hope there will be some good news there.

  2. I love that rooster. Cheer up Bill. With every passing week you will get your strength and stamina back. You just have to do a little bit more each day. You got this.
