Some things are looking up.

Saturday already. Time flies...We did have a beautiful sunset Thursday night. Looked like fire in the sky. Looking west from the front yard.

Yesterday, Friday, Bill's eye felt much better. And so did he for a while. We made a trip to the nursery to get the shade plants for the long planters that are on the wall in the patio. I got them planted this morning. I sure hope they all live. I stuck all the artificial plants in a big bag and put them in the shed. Maybe I can sneak them back in after a while.

Also went to grocery store for spaghetti sauce fixings. So next time he feels like doing something he will make sauce. Enough to freeze for several meals.  

We are having cooler weather now. Will be in high 70's and low to mid 80's for a week or so. The AC technician came yesterday. We have a home warranty plan BUT it doesn't cover replacing the refrigerant that leaked out of the AC unit. Covers the service call, kind of, and the repair. Do you have any idea how much the refrigerant costs. I knew it was expensive but...Our unit took 11 pounds of it. It is $130 a pound!!!! Talk about sticker shock.  The leak darn well better be fixed. 

I finally put up the two different hummingbirds we bought in Mexico. One is made of beads the other of balsa wood and hand painted. I might move them somewhere else as really can't see them here. They are both light enough to hang them from the artificial (in my house) plant. And they move with the slightest draft.

Even managed a walk, very short walk, in the Wetlands this morning. He says he will continue with the shots in the eye to try to regain some of his eyesite. But he had a bad day with the long covid. Wish there was something he could take to give him some energy.
