Wow - when we left here a year ago this was a parking lot, now a restaurant. It originally many, many years ago, when it had a roof and was a real building, it was a restaurant.
Looks neat, open air.
One of the decorations on the entrance wall. Menu is mostly seafood, but with a few items of meat or chicken. Might give it a try one of these days. More wires, amazing anything works.
These are for overhead Christmas lights across the street. A 15th birthday girl and her attendants. Always taking photos at the Pazuela Machado
Must be her mother.
A closer look at the face of the Carnaval decoration in the Plaza.
They were getting all set up for Friday night and a special Art Walk night.
We were eating at Gaia. Bill enjoying the day. Both had really good meals.
One of the vendors enjoying her meal before the crowds get there.
This is supposed to have very good Italian ice cream. Will have to try it one of these days.
One of the Art Walk exhibiters. She works with layers of fabric to make these unusual pieces of art.
I missed this one the other day. But it was getting dark and the taxi was moving - so this is as good as I could get. Maybe one time when it is sunny I'll get a better one.
We were on our way home after a full day. The music next door wasn't too loud for a Friday night.
Saturday was a down day for Bill so we didn't do much of anything. Went next door to Poncho's so he could get some chicken soup which seemed to perk him up. Then took a taxi to Walmart for a few things we needed. Then home to do nothing. We did go out for dinner with friends to Pancho's which is about a one minute walk for us. This morning it is foggy and warmer than before out. I will post this now and might post another one later today. We were asked about our hotel and room. So will share that then.
I've heard about that ice cream place. Was wondering where it was. I want to try some.
ReplyDeleteGreat to see you both out and about in your beloved area. Friends and fun. So neat seeing Bill enjoying life. Greetings from Hanoi until March 40. Smiles Dirk
ReplyDeleteMark - it is right across from Angela Peralta Theater. Has umbrellas above it.
ReplyDeleteDirk - It is good to see Bill up and about, what a difference a change of scenery can make.
