Sights around Mazatlan

Continuing pictures from our walk from a week or so ago when we found the yummy bakery.
Bill stopping to talk to the shoe repair man in the plaza who dyed a couple pairs of my beige sandals black. We've been using his services for several years. So they always find something to talk about.
He has a few pairs of shoes and boots for sale. No idea on the price. The silver and turquoise ones have a platform on the bottom of about two inches. I would kill myself if I ever tried to walk in something like that.
Interesting, looks like shredded coconut dyed red and yellow.
Beautiful old building. Lots of fru fru on it.
 Interesting paint job.
Painted on the side of a building
One of the Carnaval statues in the Plazuela Machado.
Working on the old bank building that is being changed to blend in with the older buildings.
Putting in electrical and or water lines. Across the street leading to the Plazuela Machado.
He was moving the cobblestones as they were dug out.
 Just caught my eye.
A restaurant in the Golden Zone getting a very complex new mural.
The NASCAR season has begun so been watching the carnage of the first races.
