Well I guess I jinxed us by saying every thing was working fine and no problems with RV. Walked into the bathroom yesterday and bare foot landed in a puddle of water. ICK. Yep, the seal around the toilet has started leaking. And our main door is not closing right. We think it is closed - needs to be slammed hard to close it - then all of a sudden on its own it will pop open. Not good. So have called a mobile RV tech - hope he can get them fixed this week while we are here. Especially the toilet...
Back to our journey here. We stopped in the Pilot/Flying J in Gila Bend. Tried to take pictures of the sign, but for some reason the red letters for unleaded didn't show up. Any way the price I guess is supply and demand. The only supply so prices higher than elsewhere.
We went to WalMart and stocked up on some things, still have more to stock up on. Also stopped at Denny's for lunch.. Our mistake, it was 12 o'clock...We were there for quite a while. No problem, we didn't have anything else to do with our time. By the time we got back to the RV the winds were really blowing. Later in the day we took a walk around the park. Lots of clouds. Like the sun shinning on the mountain.
Yesterday was Bill's birthday he is now officially 86. Where did the time go?
Watched the boring NASAR race today, probably won't do much else as there is a really nasty black cloud above us. So far no rain, but it is up there.

Well Happy Birthday Bill!! There's always a rain cloud ready to get you wet in Arizona this time of year. Seems weird to me when everyone else is in the sun. Sorry to hear about the toilet. I had the same door trouble when I discovered a piece of plastic had somehow gotten glued to the bottom edge, making the door not close property. Ripped it off and now it's fine. You just never know!!

Better late than never. 86 years young. Hope you are still traveling at 100, no reason not to. I hope that you day was special for and you made a few new memories.
