Been catching things up at home.

Sunrise the first morning we were home. Waking up early still on Mazatlan time. It's almost a week we've been home and I'm still having a problem with the time change. I'll probably get used to it just as it is time to change the clocks again.

Between all the unpacking, doing laundry, going through a months mail and ordering groceries and making doctor's and tax appointments I haven't thought about the blog much. So will start with this and work backward the next few weeks.
My girlfriend and I managed one walk in the Wetlands since we 've been home. Much to my surprise we did two and a half miles without me getting exhausted. But we walked slow. One of the herons in a place we've never seen one. Guess he likes being alone.
He is usually in this river. But today there were no herons but there was a white pelican. Just one though.
There is still snow on the higher mountains. The weather since we've been home has been in the mid 80's, actually warmer than Mazatlan. Cooling down now though in a few days it will be in the mid 60's. I like that better.
Also in the river this cormorant stretching his wings.
A few of the reeds and some of the trees near the ponds are thinking it is spring already and getting new green growth. Such a quiet and serene area.
The new header is a picture I took our last time we were in Centro. Almost missed it I was so surprised by what I was seeing. I have a lot more to share about our trip so I have a few more blogs to write as days pass. Today have to go and put gas in the car as tomorrow's doctors appointment is half way across town. And that's it for now.
