A cooking kind of day

We were just talking about when we arrived her at home. We both thought we'd been home about a month. come to check we've only been here about 2 1/2 weeks! 
It was cold and gray this morning so thought I'd cook up some of the zucchini I'd bought on line. I thought I'd ordered 2 zucchini - come to find out I'd ordered 2 pounds of zucchini. Need to watch what it says by each or pound. So I sliced a bunch of it up and breaded and fried it. (I still have a couple of whole ones left.)

 Bill was eating them faster then I could cook them. 

 Finally got smart and brought my beading light over to the table where I work the puzzles. Much easier to see the colors. This one is 500 pieces another Kincaid. 

 Again all the colors look the same. 

 Took a walk again, while we had sunshine. Neighbors rose bush is blooming like crazy. Walked 1/2 hour a little over a mile and a quarter. 

 This was tonight's dinner - the picture they sent.

 And how it turned out. We both cleaned our plates. It was very good. We are getting three more meals this week, then I'm skipping a week before I order any more. 

Wow - thought my PC was a goner. None of the things plugged into the USB ports wanted to work. The card reader for my memory card from the camera wouldn't work, then I discovered the mouse didn't work either. NUTS. Fooled with all the ports and finally just shut it down. When it started up again everything worked fine. It is an older Windows 7 system. Don't want to get a new one as half my programs won't work.
Tomorrow we get another delivery from Smith's Grocery. Supposedly they have a few things I've been trying to get. Then I'm done grocery shopping for a few weeks. 
Our youngest son called and recommended I watch a YouTube video put out by a New York doctor. It was very interesting about how to keep from catching the virus. If you'er interested search "Dr David Price" on YouTube he works one of New York's biggest hospitals. 

Sailor's Warning

Red sky at night sailor's delight. Red sky in the morning sailor's warning. We have a big storm moving in later in the afternoon. Going to last for three days! - Who says it doesn't rain in the desert. Wind has been howling since last night. Which really stirs up the pollens.

Mae a couple more masks today. These have a wire on the top part so it can be molded around our noses.

I put a light beige soft materiel on the backing. Supposed to be using 1/8th inch elastic, but I had this. And between the two pieces of material is embroidery stabilizer. Supposed to be a little bit of a filter. 

When did the days get to be 100 hours long? Cleaned out and rearranged our refrigerator and did a load of laundry. 
Started a new puzzle today, only 500 pieces, so far have the easy parts done. Should only take a couple of days.
 Maybe tomorrow I'll set up the new curtain rod and decide how I'm going to make my curtains. Or maybe not. Just started reading a new book by a favorite author - Jonathon Kellerman. Or maybe between chapters I'll bake something. It is supposed to be cold and rainy. 

NASCAR on TV Today

Waiting for another delivery from Walmart. Two of the things I wanted the most they don't have.
I have a question, why isn't there any flour and why isn't there any margarine? No chicken either.
This was last nights dinner. Very good. Spaghetti made with Italian spiced chicken sausage in a  bolognese sauce with zucchini added. 

All the ingredients except salt and pepper and a tablespoon of butter. 

And here is our dinner. This is Bill's plate he likes the cheese so he got it all. I think is smells like stinky feet. 

Got to watch a IRacing race again today on TV. They were racing Bristol. It is amazing how real it looks. And all the drivers are sitting in their homes at their game set up. Keeps me amused for a while. Here is a quick video of the race on TV.

I finally finished the 750 piece puzzle - took me four days. I'm glad there is only one more 750 piece - the other four are 300 - 500 pieces. All Kincaid pictures. 

Sunrise this morning was kind of pretty. 

Our weather is changing again, now it is going to get cold and rainy for the rest of the week. With snow in the mountains. Kind of a mixed bag coming up. 

Oh wow, I just discovered we have a YouTube channel on the TV. Going to figure out how to use it tomorrow. Well, I did use it today, but I only got places by accident. Not sure how I did it. We did find the videos Bill likes to watch about the drones. But don't know how I did it. Something to do for a while.
