Mazat;an

Well we are here and it was quite an experience! Our Uber showed up to the house about 10 minutes early and we got to Vegas airport just fine. Only third time using Uber so glad it turned out okay. I worry if I've done the ordering right.  I even managed to download boarding passes with no problem after the first screw up. Had wheel chairs in all airports.  Especially me almost running through all the airports following the very FAST wheel pushers. Over 2.25 miles at airports. Next time I'm getting a chair too. I was exhausted! First Vegas, then Phoenix - long run - and then Mazatlan. Thank goodness for pusher there or we would still be wandering around the airport lost. Flights were all on time and uneventful.  So we are here in our bare bones hotel room.  $48 a night.  Today we went out and bought a small microwave, coffee pot, towel rack, clothes hangers and a bath towel.  Checking in, Pictures of room later.  We both took a nap.

We thought about going to the rib place for dinner last night but didn't have the energy, so just went next door to Panchos. Good meal.
All ready getting ready for Carnaval. Outside of a store next to restaurant.
Like this. Same place.
Some pretty flowers on fence as we walked back to hotel
This morning we went to Torres for breakfast and view and to see friends. They give good hugs and say "Welcome Home!" Happy camper Bill
The View!
Another pretty flower growing at Torres.
Nice to see such pretty blooms this time of year.
Caught a taxi - yes, his teeth were grinding cause he wasn't in the Jeep. And went to Mega to pick up a few things. Above mentioned household stuff and groceries. (We will give everything to Rafa.) I had lost my list - so need to go to market soon again. Pastries.
The market is on the 2nd floor and the carts stick to the moving walkway. The microwave was on sale for half price. I got to wondering about the 4,500 bill ( 17 P to one dollar) so before we got out I checked our bill. Checker had not given us sale price. So spent 45 minutes getting our money back. Not that they were messing with us, but the bureaucracy is incredible. Four different people involved
Got taxi and got to hotel, got everything set up and took a NAP!!! Then decided to go out to Fat Fish for ribs. Bill remembered to take his wrap around sunglasses to keep the wind from his eyes, so we took a pulmonia.
Interesting new bar?
Fat Fish Talking to Daniel the cook. Been friends for years. He has new equipment with hood and everything.
He even has his picture on a big advertising banner.
Picture of a happy man.
Pretty good size piece of meat. Also salad, garlic bread, baked potato and coleslaw. Two meals for 330 Pesos. About US$19.50 for two meals. Still cheap for good stuff.
So that is what we've done so far. Will be in bed early again tonight. More music from BBQ place next door but not as loud as last night and it stops at 8 o'clock. But sure to bed earlier than usual for me tonight too. Tomorrow is another day.

Mark - well actual flying was fine, running through airports not so much.
Doug and Nancy - We are glad to be here too. Will hope to keep busy.
Jackie - we hope to.
Contessa - We flew right over you yesterday. Could almost make out your RV. It is really strange to not have the car. Already missing it.
