A milestone day.

Yesterday was quite a day. My FitBit. It vibrates when it hits 10,000, about jumped a foot! YES! I got in over 10,000 steps by evening.

Took an early walk in the morning 7:30 - by the time we were heading home it was already HOT. We walked in The Wetlands again. So pretty out there. Hard to believe it is within a mile of our house. Saw lots of bunnies.

Took a paved trail this time.

There are some really big fish in this section - see them. About 12 to 18 inches long. 

More of the river heading towards Lake Mead. 

The hike/walk was almost 3 miles. I was more than ready to go home.

Finished another pair of earrings, these are for me. Going to work on another pair today - but kind of different I think. 

Also finally got my drapes cut, hemmed and up on the window. Looks more finished now. They don't go all the way to the floor, cut them off to go just under the window.

Last night we were watching a hockey game the Vegas Knights were playing the Arizona Coyotes. We could hear howling, thought it was coming from the game. Shut the sound from TV off and listened. Nope coming from the coyotes that live in the wetlands. 

Don't know how many more times I'll go walking, it is getting hot very early. 

Fixed a good dinner last night. Managed to get some Yukon Gold potatoes. They are hard to find here. And they are so good.
