Wed and Friday

Check the humidity and dew point for sure in the UGH area. Every thing feels sticky. thank goodness for AC and ceiling fan.

Wednesday night we went to Torres for dinner and to listen to Rafael sing and play. Yes we really like him and his music. You can almost see the humidity in the air.
Valentines display.
The Torres VI  timeshare is such a neat place. So pretty and yet serene. Reflections in the wading pool.
A man had brought his trained hawk to the pool area. Couldn't get a good clear picture of him because of the sun. But here he is sitting on top of a shade area.
And the sky above was full of birds playing in a thermo.
We were eating inside but sitting right next to the window. The beginning of sunset.
That's about all the color it got. Clouds were pretty thick.
Had a great meal and enjoyed the music. Took Uber home and I was very careful walking through the parking lot.
Friday afternoon we were on our way to Walmart and I happened to look back into the patio. There were two Chakalakas there. Acting like they owned the place. Strange they are this far into the city.

Friday was Art walk here in Mazatlan. We got a late start but had only planned on going to one place. To Niva Art to see Rak the owner. Years ago he taught Bill how to make the leather face masks. Luckily he was there. So a long talk to catch up. Look at the way they are standing. Was good seeing him again.
We also met Mark, Pam and Larry for dinner in the plaza listening to Rafael sing and play. When Rafa took a break he and his wife sat and visited with us - Bill - for a while. Rafael also gave Bill a USB with all his music on it. Really moved Bill. We both love his music. On the way back to the hotel I watched for the new Valentine on one of the unfinished high rises. Just managed to catch it through the back window of the Uber. Did not enjoy the ride. Music blaring, finally had to ask him to turn it down. Driver was looking at his personal phone and driving right up to back of other cars. Not a fun ride.
OOPS - these photos are from the phone and should have been before some of the other ones. Taken on the way to Centro. Mazatlan malecon has sure changed over the years.
Walking from Raks to the plazuela. A girl celebrating her 15th birthday. Beautiful gown. Getting pictures taken in front of the Theater.

Rafael entertaining the audience.
Bill and Mark in a serious discussion.
Rafael's wife joined us.
All in all another great night out in Mazatlan.
