Tuesday the 2nd already. Time flies when you are having fun...We just got home from Walgreens where we got our 1st Pfizer BioNTecvh Covid Vaccine. Second one is scheduled for the 30th. Our appointments were scheduled for 9:15 and we were home by few minutes after ten. The pharmacy was quite a ways across town or we'd been home sooner. They sure use a skinny needle, didn't even feel it going in!
Back to regular things. This moon was over Quartzsite where we spent one night before the last day of our travels.
And this was just a scene somewhere between Parker and Havasu. The only two picture from the last two days.We got home around 11 Saturday, went to the grocery store so we'd have something to eat for dinner. A good choice considering what we came home to. The funny thing is we were home over an hour before I noticed any thing wrong. And this is what I noticed...This is under Bill's big recliner. Oh! Oh! not good. Then I started to look around. You do not want to know my words as I discovered more and more evidence of our guests.
Taking everything out of lower cupboards and drawers in the kitchen. Of course every pot, pan, dish and utensil in the kitchen had to be washed and all drawers and cupboards cleaned and sanitized. Dishwasher ran steady for two days.
When I went in our bedroom it at first looked okay. Then I pulled the quilt down. They had been sleeping and pooping IN OUR BED. Also in the closet and my bathroom. Why couldn't they just stay in one room. So Washer and dryer ran constantly for two days too. In fact just now doing last load. [I did also do the laundry from the RV.] The curtain is bowed out from the heating vent. So kitchen, bathrooms, living/dining room and our bedroom are cleaned. Still finding some evidence in the computer room - luckily there was not much in it. Thank goodness. And my sewing room wasn't bad. At least they didn't get into my material. Still window sills, carpet furniture all need vacuuming and sanitizing. Our son with the cleaning service is coming over this afternoon to see about really sanitizing the floors and carpets and sending out a big area rug for professional cleaning. Next week some time we will bring the RV back over here and clean it. I have used many paper towels and a whole big can of Lysol spray disinfectant up. And half way through another can.
I also managed to put in a big grocery order to WalMart and have it delivered so we'd be able to keep eating. Already have another on started.
Yesterday spent over an hour on three way call with our medical insurance and prescription insurance. Trying to straighten out one of Bill's medications. Before we left for Mexico one of them got messed up and we left with out it. So needed to make sure everything would be okay so we could order it. It is one of those drugs that is not common so we have a good sized copay for it. $60 for 90 days. Well worth it. But in October they wanted almost $2000 to fill it. So now it is straightened out and on order. The people helping me over the phone were outstanding. One from our insurer and the other from the drug company.
A ray of sunshine though. I realized it soon would be Saint Patrick's Day, we haven't been home for the day in a long time. I remembered I had some decorations - so dug them out. A couple of stained glass sun catchers for the kitchen window.
And a set of four place mats and napkins for the table. Also a couple of leprechauns and other things.
Notice the puzzle in the background of the table. I started it just before we left in November and didn't even look at it. Finally last night I worked on it a little.

So that catches us up. Will write a little about the trip in a day or two.
Oh - noticed some new turds under kitchen sink. Pest control will be here Friday.

Some day you'll be able to laugh about it but...not anytime in the near future.
