I got my new laptop. It has Windows 11 lucky me. So far have managed to load a couple of programs but it has been a challenge. Will return later to do update. Water heater in RV has to be replaced.
Oh. no! I sympathize with you about having to get a new computer--takes forever to figure out the changes the manufacturers have made to make things "easier" for us!! And sorry about the new water heater, also, but better now than in Mexico???
Larry updated our backup computer from Windows 10 to Windows 11 and while I have not used it he likes it. Says it runs very well and other than the start menu it is not very different. All of his programs work on it just as before.
Sorry to hear about the water heater. It is such a pain to repair things while on the road. I know you have used mobile repair in the past. We have not used one but it sounds easier and faster than taking it into a dealer. We keep hearing how badly the dealers are backed up and taking weeks/months to get repairs done.
Judy, I got a laptop without a bunch of bells and whistles and I was surprised how easy Windows 11 was to set up. No problem transferring all my data from Office or my photo program. Thank goodness. Having to extend stay here for different RV service to check out problem. Ugh Ruth - I think I rather like Windows 11 - a lot easier than 8 was. I don't think we'll have any problem getting the heater - the first RV tech said wed can order from Amazon 2 day delivery. problem is service rep he is going on 2 week vacation.. Hope the one coming Sunday can get it too and get it installed.
