Different doings

Sunday mornings incredible sunrise. One of the best I've seen here.

And in the western sky the full moon was setting.
I finally finished the Christmas bed throw quilt.
 The front and back.
A closer look at the quilting on the back. I decided to use the embroidery machine to quilt the squares. And just "stitch in the ditch" around the squares.
Used three different designs for the quilting and three different colored threads. The thread color depended on the square.

Going back to Friday. I had a doctor's appointment. They put me in this room with the CAUTION tape on the door - notice the skull. I hope it was Halloween decoration, not something contagious. Ha, just noticed the picture is upside down and that the room number was 13!!!
Bright and early Saturday morning. All set up for the garage sale. The community provided the long table. We made a little over $200. The things I thought would sell, kitchen stuff, didn't and the things I didn't think would sell, Bills carvings and masks, did sell. Go figure. And the new management didn't advertise the sale like the old management did. So most people coming by were neighbors from here in the park. What didn't sell is now back in the shed. Maybe in the spring sale things will go better.
We did find more greenery for the other window box at the big indoor swap meet. At least it didn't cost an arm and a leg like it would have from JoAnn's or Hobby Lobby. We'll take them in when we leave for the winter and arrange them better when we get home.
All sorts of things are going on around us today. The gas company is here tearing up the street. That's our trashcan and garage wall.
Don't know if all these trucks are gas company or home workers. The street in front of our house.
And here are the guys working on the new home next door.  All the wheels etc. are in our "yard." Glad we don't have grass or flowers.
Bill tried to take a nap but too much going on so now he is cooking.
Also went to the pharmacy today. But that is a whole other blog.

$200.00 is a great haul for an unadvertised sale.
