Just taking it easy

Still no Internet – working on it though.  Yesterday we went up the street a ways for breakfast at the new La Antigua The building it’s in used to be The Roadhouse – a bar. They’ve done an impressive job remodeling it. Very nice inside.

Also a couple of patios downstairs and a large upstairs with a small one table patio. That is where we ate – outdoors.

Had the same crepe as the day before, it was just as delicious

Thought this sign was funny pointing to the bathrooms.

Back at the RV park. The hotel/condos they were building last year are done. The building looks nice.

The restaurant that is right next door to the RV park is so busy. The gate to the park that we’ve been coming in for years is now closed as the patrons from the restaurant were coming into the park to park! So we were surprised and almost missed the open gate. There are only four of us here so far. Two up front and two here in the back. Lots of overnighters though.

Yesterday we pretty much stayed home. Bill put up more lights and I did a little cleaning. Very little. Had the upholster over, we need to get covers made for the arms of the sofa. The cheap crap the builders used is peeling. Looks terrible. Here is why we are waiting for the upholster to come. They use such cheap fake leather material it just peels off. This is one arm of the sofa.

Also took in our laundry, new owner, prices doubled and we had a lot of laundry. We’ll see if it is worth it. Went across the street for an early dinner. Then did nothing rest of day.

Got propane this afternoon and we are trying to get Internet but so far no success…

Got antsy so went to the nursery bought eight pots of geraniums. And a big bag of dirt.

Then too the market to get some pots to plant them in. One of the bakers is a good friend of ours, while Bill was talking to him I took a couple pictures of some of the decorated cakes. Cute.

Lots of Christmas stuff out already.

Stopped on the way home and picked up our laundry. I really like this, every thing is clean, smells good and folded all ready to be put away. Ah the good life.

Here is Rafa planting the flowers in the pots.

Nice to see Supervisor Bill is back on duty. I'm a little concerned that La Antigua is so close. Well I can just walk there and that will cancel out the calories.
