A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL

Merry Christmas to Every One.
A couple more pictures of yesterday's beautiful sunrise.

We went out to breakfast yesterday morning to the restaurant across the street and just enjoyed the food and view of the ocean.
Then we went to WalMart and Sam's Club to stock up on a few things. Chocolate covered cherries for one. Also water and green tea. Bought some Argentine Chorizo for dinner.
Then came home and watched the birds for a while. One of the buzzards came down of the microwave tower to fly really low in the campground. Boy are they big. Then he landed - never seen them on the ground here before.
Finally settled on one of the lamp posts and just watched. He didn't get near the feeding tree.
This bird is a little different, he doesn't have a yellow tail like the other black and yellow ones. And is smaller.
One of these guys also came down and landed not far from us. Then flew up into the palm tree. Don't know what they are.

And they start of a pretty sunset to end the day.
Bill cooking the Argentine sausage. So we had that and salad for dinner. Lots of fireworks going off all over the place.
The ending of the sunset. Another beautiful day in Paradise.
We went across the street for breakfast this morning and they actually had to close all the beach facing windows the wind was so cool. Here at the campground it is a lot warmer but still have a nice  breeze. Going to be a quiet day for us I think.

Merry Christmas! The "buzzard" is really a turkey vulture. They eat carrion and small animals, and roost at night in groups in the tops of dead trees. They can be seen soaring high in the sky in groups, and can be identified in flight by their being "tippy" as they fly. The other two birds are crested caracara, which are considered tropical falcons. They also eat carrion, but will eat insects and small animals, as well. They are threatened in Florida. Both of these types of birds keep our environment healthy by removing dead animals. Judy

Thank you, as you can tell I don't know much about birds. But they are fun to watch.
